If you require our services for a set period either before any court hearing or during hearings, Please do discuss with us, as we pride ourselves on the ability to offer reduced fees when sessions are block booked.

Session Activity Costs

Travel 

If we are requested to travel further to supervise sessions, there is an additional cost of 45p per mile - to be discussed during registration

Door to Door Services

|If we are required to collect the children from Parent A and take them to Parent B, then this acquires an additional charge of £25 per hour - As our chaperones are responsible for the child or children from the time we collect them to the time we drop them back,

For example

chaperone / supervised contact for 1 hour is charged at £50

Pick up and taking them to the contact location includes a 30 minute drive, then this incurs an additional £25 charge each way. and would total at £50

 

Total cost for the session would be £100.

All prices listed are for 1 Chaperone for up to a total of 4 children per adult.

If there is more than 4 children that are to be supervised, then an additional Chaperone would be required. This would be an additional chargwe - Please discuss this during the original conversation.

How it works?

General Enquiry

PRIVATE LAW CASES

Upon receiving you're initial enquiry, We make contact with you, to discuss the case and the services required.

We then follow this up with an email quotation. If and once agreed by all parties, We book individual Video appointments, to discuss our contract terms and conditions, Get to know each party and meet the child or children.

Upon all contracts and fee's agreed, We assign you a Chaperone, whom will either by video chat or in person, meet you and the child(ren) so they can familiarise each other in preparation of the first booked session.

On the day of the booked session, We will make contact once more to check everything is ok and that all are ready.

The Chaperone will meet the Live With Parent or Guardian at the agreed location, to collect the child(ren) Once they feel comfortable, the Chaperone will escort them to the agreed meeting point with the Non Residential Parent. The Chaperone will remain with the child(ren) throughout the session, The Chaperone will be making voice notes throughout the session, to enable a detailed report to be completed and filed, The Chaperone will also have a PDA which tracks all movements and ensures that if needed, assistance can be obtained at speed, The PDA's will record visually and vocally as and when required. Our app allows us to remotely monitor the chaperone as and when needed.

At the end of the session, The Chaperone will make sure that the child(ren) are safely returned to the agreed location and return them back to the Live with Parent or Guardian.

The Chaperone will debrief the Parent or Guardian of all relevant information. Before leaving the Child(ren) in their care, and leaving.

The Chaperone will complete a written report and file with each party within 24 Hours of the session, unless urgently required, All reports will be sent to the relevant professionals as required.

 

LOCAL AUTHORITY CLIENTS
 If the subject children are residing with agency care providers, our services are tailored to each individual case and safeguarding requirements.

Upon the case being assigned to LJS Family Contact Services, Our Chaperone will meet the appropriate adult as requested, then escort the child(ren) to the agreed location to meet with the Biological Parents.

The Chaperone will follow the same process as all sessions before ensuring the child(ren) are returned to the appropriate adult at the agreed location at the agreed time, 

The Chaperone will then provide the case manager a full report.

 

NO SERVICE WILL BE PROVIDED UNTIL ALL RELEVENT FORMS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED AND RETURNED - ALL RISK ASSESMENTS COMPLETED AND ALL APPLICABLE FEE'S ARE PAID.
